Living Vessel
My art is a celebration of the harmonious relationship between the human form and nature. Through my ceramic sculptures, I explore the fluidity and transformation of both elements, as they emerge and evolve over time. Each piece is a unique expression of this relationship, as the moss grows and changes its color and shape, becoming a living part of the sculpture.
The human body serves as a muse for me, as I study its posture and form, and translate it into organic shapes and curves. The result is a series of sculptures that are inspired by both the beauty and fragility of the human form, as well as the resilience and power of nature.
As I work with clay, I aim to capture the essence of these two elements and create pieces that are both aesthetically pleasing and thought-provoking. My goal is for the viewer to be drawn in by the beauty of the art, and to reflect on the relationship between human and nature, and the passage of time.
In essence, my art is a meditation on the cyclical nature of life and growth, and a tribute to the power of the natural world and the human spirit.
